Face The Music: iPhone, iPod & iPad Review

Aug 2nd, 2010View Comments

Face The Music for iPhone, iPod & iPad is an app which allows you to share the current song or a song from your iTunes Library with Twitter or Facebook. The app was created by TouchMiPhone.com What an ingenious idea. The developer of the app has created many outstanding iPhone and iPad apps. Face The Music is really simple to use & clear to the point. If you are like me and are constantly listening to music, this app will easily become a favorite.

Once you launch the app, you will presented with a similar interface to the iPod app. If you currently have a song playing, the app will automatically have a post pre-written and ready for you to post your status. To edit this post tap

the little circular icon on the top right. This will load up a nice interface allowing you to  choose where you want it to be published.

Up pops the Post view

Here is where you choose to change the post format, add album artwork link or a link to twit fm. Once you have chosen your social networks to post to, tap the post button.

We Farm for iPhone/iPad

Jul 29th, 2010View Comments

Today was the release of anoher amazing app for iPhone and iPad from @ngmoco. ngmoco has released many games for iPhone and iPad, including my favorite Rolando. Today, a new game was added to that line, We Farm. A knock of from We Rule. We Rule is a game in which you build and create a kingdom. Planting crops, taxing your fellow citizens and constructing a large amount on buildings. The new @WeFarmGame allows you to plant crops like in We Rule, but includes a new addition, allowing for animals. Raise, look after, and even enter them into races. If your animal wins, you are rewarded with gold, XP and maybe even a blue ribben.

If you would like to follow me on We Farm my Plus+ ID is macbuddydev. I will be working hard on my new farm. Way to go @ngmoco

Tweetie for iPhone icon Template

May 24th, 2010View Comments

Hello everyone. I designed a template of the @Tweetie 2 iPhone icon. Its quite easy to use. Draw or drag in a custom shape. Copy the layer style givin on the example circular orb. Paste the layer styles on your new layer, hide the example and your all set. If you want to edit some of the shadows simply double – click on the layer to bring up the FX panel. Mess around in there until you have the settings to your liking. Its simple and produces a great duplicate.

Cheers,

Frank
